On the afternoon of April 5, 2025, under the chairmanship of the rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Professor Asrorzoda Ubaidullo Sattor, a large meeting of the Academic Council was held. The meeting discussed the results of the University's activities in the first quarter of this year.
The meeting was attended by deputy rectors, heads of departments, departments and sections, rectors of the Levakant, Khujand and Dangara international institutes, heads of scientific and research institutions, educational centers, colleges and lyceums, and scientific and teaching staff.
Professor Asrorzoda Ubaidullo Sattor opened the meeting and sincerely congratulated those present on the signing of the Khujand Declaration of Eternal Friendship by the heads of three Central Asian countries - Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The Rector of the University assessed the role of the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, as very valuable in this historical process, and called the beloved President of our country an initiator and supporter of the policy of good neighborliness and regional integration.
Continuing his speech, the Rector of the University stated that the teaching staff and staff of the University had completed the first quarter with significant achievements in the areas of education, science, upbringing, strategic development and international relations. The achievements were assessed as a motivating factor for the further fruitful activities of the team.
It was noted that in today's conditions, the University has become a multi-level and multidisciplinary higher education institution and has taken a worthy place in the educational space of the country and the international level.
It was noted that the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in his annual Addresses, constantly pays attention to increasing the effectiveness of activities in the field of education. In particular, in their annual message to the Majlisi Oli on December 28, 2024, they emphasized that “… It should be said that at the level of higher education, the issues of the level and quality of education, the professional level of teachers and their use of modern technologies, the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process, strengthening the material and technical base, international cooperation, scientific exchange of teachers and students, scientific and research work, and educational measures still need to be strengthened.”
In this context, the university’s leadership has taken important measures to implement the instructions of the Leader of the Nation and adapt to global standards. In particular, effective work has been carried out in the areas of academic exchange, advanced training of teachers, the conclusion of cooperation agreements, and business trips of the management team.
As a result of the measures taken, the university’s position in the market of educational services has increased, and the scientific and academic achievements of students and teachers are gradually expanding.
At the same time, during the meeting, the comprehensive activities of the university in the first quarter were analyzed and evaluated, and they were considered acceptable and successful. In conclusion, Professor Asrorzoda Ubaidullo Sattor gave specific instructions and instructions to the entire staff of teachers and staff to achieve even higher achievements in the following quarters, and the Academic Council adopted relevant decisions in this regard.
