On April 26 of this year, a republican seminar on the topic “Development of industrial entrepreneurship in the context of digitalization of the national economy” was held at the Scientific and Research Institute of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan (SRIETI Entrepreneurship). The seminar began with an opening speech by the rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Asrorzoda Ubaidullo Sattor. Then, the director of the SRIETI Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Ibrohimzoda Ilhomuddin Rajabali, made a report on the topic “Trends of development of industrial entrepreneurship in the context of digitalization of the national economy”.
The speech emphasized that in the Republic of Tajikistan, within the framework of the strategic goal of rapid industrialization, the volume of the country's total industrial output has increased from 27 billion to 53 billion somoni in the past five years, which is almost twice as much. During this period, more than 2,040 industrial enterprises and 74 thousand jobs have been created in the country. In 2024 alone, 740 new manufacturing plants and enterprises were created. In total, almost 20 thousand jobs were created in this sector.
The attention of the audience was drawn to the trend of increasing the share of the digital economy in the global economic system. According to the World Economic Forum, in 2018 it exceeded 24% and is gradually growing rapidly. The direct impact of the comprehensive development of the digital economy and digital infrastructure over the next five years will amount to 20% of global GDP. In this regard, it is important to note that the return on investment (ROI) through the digital technology system is five times higher than that of the traditional system.
Such modern trends in industrial development as a result of the influence of digital economy technologies are the basis for the highest results:
* increased investment in information technologies and Internet projects;
* implementation of the "digital leap";
* creation of the information infrastructure necessary for the development of the digital economy;
* emergence of new factors of production, such as data collection, description, storage and processing;
* stimulating competition within the country;
* creating common technological platforms;
* increasing intense competition between the development of productive forces in the process of organizing and implementing production relations;
* introducing new technologies that significantly expand the digital capabilities of production;
* creating digital jobs at enterprises;
At the same time, the analysis conducted allows Tajikistan to have objective economic grounds for implementing the "digital leap". The timely transition of industry to digital technologies and mass digitalization (digitalization re-development) will help the country to be in line with the general trend of modern development.
